How the time flies.
I know I haven't been active on this site too terribly much, lately everything has been going to my tumblr. Perhaps that will change but for now here's where I'm at.
Well after two months work on this character I'm ready to give her a final render.
Character before going to blenderartists.
After getting feedback,
Only thing that I didn't really redesign was the dress.
The first two weeks were getting a basic model ready, then the rest was a back and forth on blenderartists, basically getting input on the model and redesigning her.
The last two weeks involved prepping a character rig for her, including full body movement, eyes, mouth, and getting the dress to animate with her.
So this week I will be giving her a final render in a scene I've prepped that is much different from the one I posted on this site. I didn't want to post every scene I built, went through 4 before modeling one I liked.
Then I'll be getting ready to test out animating her. I've spent so much time designing her I'm not limiting her to one render.
So to sum it up, I failed miserably in my attempt to quickly model a character but seeing her this one turned out in the end it was worth the wait.

Has it been that long?
2015 was my last journal entry?
Well that is easy to believe. Yes time flies but also does ones priorities when it comes from transition from college to real life.
With that said, I took far too long transitioning between blender 2.47, the version I started with. and 2.5 I will not allow that to happen with 2.8. If you are following me I commend your efforts to follow a long dormant account that has only but a few original 3d characters and such.
Will there be more? possibly.
What a fun teaser.
Checking In
So Ive returned to do a little check in and apparently my absence has been seen as an opportunity for a few individuals.
Personally I do not know why these two were singled out as they are my 2nd generation blender models and personally are not my best work but it seems these two images have been the primary targets of people who are distributing my images without my knowledge/consent.
Now I do not mind at all if you are distributing my work freely for the masses, all I ask is that you do the following:
1. ASK ME FIRST. Needs no further explanation. it is not that difficult to reach me. If you have not asked me DON'T POST MY IMAGES.

Week of Modeling
This week is going to be a busy week of renders and modeling, and tutorials.
I'm about ready to do the final render of my my first blender character "Hannah". I'm making a few final adjustments and will be doing the final render today.
The above image was rendered a few days ago, much has changed since then, in terms of both the character and the scenery.
I'm very excited to be finishing my first character and will be starting my second later this week.
If all goes well I will also be releasing the final 3 parts of my rigging tutorial soon.
Tutorials are going up
It's been awhile since I promised tutorials and now they are in the process of uploading.
The quadruped rigging tutorial series is a four part series.
Part1
(http://youtu.be/mnFRyVZd8TI
The Forward Kinematics rig tutorial is the first part of the series and involves making a basic rig in blender.
Part 2 will be a follow up on this tutorial and will involve turning the forward kinematics rig into an inverse kinematics rig.
